    i went to buy a dining set of 6 chairs and 1 table. the sales person name is Moris. He was talking to me that those were the best table better than Raymour & Flanigan. also moris has told me that the dining set was made in usa not in china. when i receive the table and chairs, one of them was broken and the other one is dangling.     I ordered a living room set from them and it was damaged. They sent me another one and that was damaged also. They have horrible customer service and don't call the customer's for a update.     I bought my sofa loveseat recliner and ottoman from Ashley furniture in 2011 when we were getting this the salesman said if you are moving and the sofa gets damaged you can call the insurance and either they will fix it or replace it with something equivalent I thought that is one less thing to worry unfortunately got transferred to Tampa Florida while in transit the sofa got transferred and since we were moving by our selves the insurance says it is not covered tried to speak with the supervisor no luck the sofa leather is cracking I am very much frustrated with this throwing the blame...   • Peeling leather



    I purchased a sofa and chair from Ashley Furniture 4 years ago. Approximately one year ago, the leather started peeling off. There was no injury to the leather, it just started randomly peeling where we sit. I submitted a claim through the Montage Furniture Protection Plan that I purchased. When I bought it I was told that it would protect me from ANY damage over the next 5 years and they would fix or replace any damage.   • Asheley Furniture Manager couldn't solve simple problem



    I set everything up so when i returned from vacation my new bed would be for me. I purchased a bed, chaise and night stand for $2500. Delivery was scheduled for a Sunday so someone would be home all day. I gave them my address, gate code, and alternate phone number because i wouldn't be there.     In early 2010 I purchased a new bunk bed set from Ashley's Furiture. Which was not new. The mirror which we stored had scratches all over it as well as the furniture. Every time you shut the dresses drawers the molding flies of which is made of razor blades so I have been cut up teen times from there lousy used furniture that they sell for 1000's of dollars.     I recently bought a couch that I loved from Ashley Furniture. On our first delivery date the driver of the truck decided it would take too much time to figure out how to get the truck into our apartment complex and up to our 3rd floor apartment (because we "hadn't told him" it was the third floor even though I have a photo copy of the form we filled out that said it was....) so he just left.     I will never in life buy furniture from you again. I ordred 2 rooms of furniture in January of 2012. The relciner started peeling and tearing in the first year. They repaired the chair. Not is ripping again. I had the coverage that I paid for and put in a claim only to be told it is not covered. My couch is now tearing too. What a rip off I am so angry I could tip your heads off.     Ordered 3 full rooms of furniture May 24th. It's now June 30th. We were told our furniture would be delivered in 3 weeks. Our bed was delivered, however, the drawers under the bed were broken. The delivery men told us they would take care of it and have new drawers within a week.   • Ashley sofa physically injuring my family



    I purchased the Jordon/Durablend sofa and there is no padding on the inside of the arm of the sofa along the frame. Just solid wood corners all around. I sat on the end cushion and clipped the arm of the sofa when I sat down. As a result I broke my tailbone. My 2 year old son has also hit his head on the arm of the sofa giving him bruises, no traumatic head injuries YET.     I'd never recommend ASHLEY FURNITURE to even my worst enemy, specifically the one in Woodbridge VA. The only thing they care is closing the deal, once they closed the deal; even your simple phone call about your account they do not answer no more.And the funny thing is they keep you on hold for hours just to discourage you; even inside the store once they found out your visit is not for purchasing they make you hanging around without any assistance to discourage you.   • Purchased Living room set, it has been repaired numerous times. I'm so done!!



    Purchased my first Brand new living room set & dining table from Ashley on furniture row in springdale. I purchased extended warranty insurance, Thank Goodness!! I need my furntiure repaired again, not sure how many times this makes.     I tried to purchase a bed from Ashley in the Elmwood Shopping Center in Harahan La. The salesperson charged me $851.00 for what was suppose to be a $299.00 bed. Of course he ordered the wrong bed and they would not honor their advertisement for the $299.00 bed as I was told it cost them more and it was their perogative.     My husband purchased a two piece leather sofa and loveseat in October 2010 as a gift for me. The leather is pealing off and cracking.     My wife and I purchased a very expensive Ashley sectional. All pieces are power recliners including the chase. Upon delivery, all the pieces looked good and functioned properly. 4 days after delivery, the chase recliner practically fell to the floor. I pulled the couch out and inspected the back of the chase.     Ashley delivered my sofa with Chaise (Gander Thunder Sectional with right facing chaise, SKU: U8130617) on August 12, 2013. It is a beautiful color and style. Unfortunately, looks are deceiving!     Horrific experience shopping for a bedroom set for my two year old granddaughter. They sold us two sets of bedrails, when we only needed one. Back ordered for over two weeks.     Ashley Furniture switched to this company a few years ago and they are horrible! With the previous company, if you had damage you told them what it was and where and they would come out within a few days. Great. This company, you have to print out a paper and if you do not have Internet, they will mail it to you. Then, you have to put where all the damage is on a random picture they already have on the paper AND then they decide if their technicians can come out and fix it, which can take a couple of days!!!     I purchased the Northshore Furniture Living Room set from coleman furniture New York. The delivery company damaged the sofa and loveseat and table. They took the furniture back to repair. The leather on the sofa is badly damaged as the professional person that repaired it damaged it more. Coleman Furniture says the manufacturer, in this case, Ashley furniture, has reviewed the product and is up to Ashley standards.     First a protection plan warranty was placed on my tickect that I told the sales guy I did NOT want. I didn't realize it until a couple of weeks later. I asked for it to be removed and they stated I was two days too late. Another way to rip people off! In addition to that they brought my suppose to be new bedroom set with a footboard that was scratched up in about 6 locations. I purchased a sectional and after it was delivered, I noticed about 2 weeks later that a nail or staple had punctured through the back of the material and caused a small tear. I called Cust Svc and they told me that they would order the part and have a technician come out. I had no idea that the part was the cloth! This is so tacky and it is not fair that they do not refund anything.

Bad customers service. Bought lots of stuff from ashley Furniture store got a defected bed frame. And one of the mattress that i bought cost 2, ,000 thousands and it supposed to be firm like I tried it in the store but it not. Very soft and sinking. Called the customer service but they all denied and had sent several technique to check, one said it wrong matress and one said this is not the right one. But when the customer service called back they were saying the mattress is not defect. How ever the mattress I bought it discontinued what a coincidence I just bought it within 2 weeks. I BROUGHT A LIVING ROOM SET FOR WIFE MID FEB 2012. WHEN IT WAS DELIVERED THE 3 OF THE FEET WERE BANGED UP,AND A PIECE OF THE FRUNITURE WAS DELIVERED. Ashley furniture is complete crap! All of the furniture we bought was broken within 2 years. The finish rubbed off of the tables with the lightest of touch. The sleeper sofa collapsed, the springs pulled the frame apart on the chair, and the arm broke off of the love seat. I will never give Ashley another cent.

Myers,Fl) I called to make sure that the pieces I had seen online would be available immediately. I was told not a problem because they had a big warehouse in Ft. Lauderdale. Purchased and paid for furniture and set up delivery 6 days later. Day before the sleeper couch was to be delivered I was told that it was given to someone else because even if they purchased it after me that if they wanted and earlier delivery date they would get the couch.They sold the same couch twice. I was called the day after the couch (Sat.) was to be delivered and told that they had a couch and it would be delivered on Tues. Sent my real estate agent over to wait for the couch..it never came and they didn't even bother to let me know...Needless to say they are now saying that the couch is back-ordered and won't be in for 3 more weeks. The sales people at Ashley will do anything for a sale.All I can say is buyer beware...stay away from Ashley!

We purchased a brown leather living room set about six months ago. About 3 months after purchase, we could see that the coloring was coming off. You could tell exactly where I had been sitting. I could expect this discoloration after several years but not after 3 months. I had two tecnicians come out and both said it was normal wear. I asked the second tecnician if he had seen many couches with this problem. I stated he had not seen any. My next question was "If you have not seen any, then how can you tell the difference between normal wear and a manufacturer defect. He had no answer. Surprise. The company has refused to do anything. In our city, we have a county mediation service which Ashley has refused to respond too. My next step is to take them to Small Claims Court. I just mailed my intent to Ashley. I should be fair in saying that the store manager and sales person have been sympathetic but say it has to go through customer service in Phoenix. I feel that even if I loose, I have still caused some inconvenience to the company.

DON'T DEAL WITH ASHLEY AND TAKE CITIBANK NO INTEREST FOR 36 MONTH DEAL! What a ripoff - Two days late and you get the 0% interest taken away and (believe it) 98% APR - and I have over 715 credit rating.

Today is 1-24-09, we were looking for bedroom furniture and I had read all the bad comments abaout Ashley furniture store. At first I believed some of it but not the one of how they talk to the customer. My husband and I went in to the Ashley furniture store at Arlington TX. and a sales man said hi guys how are you. My husband said that is not the proper way to talk to a customer. The sales man said if you don't like how you are being treated you can just leave. Not even ten steps into the store and we left. So believe all the comments.

I am VERY unhappy with a chair I bought from Ashley and the response from customer service is ridiculous. How you think you can rip people off with inferior products is beyond me, and I don't appreciate being talked to like I'm an idiot. I am a college graduate and I hope not teaching one of your children.
Fading in 10 months is not something I did. There are 2 adults who live in this house and we work all day, so you do the math as to how much use that chair has gotten. As was suggested to me, NOTHING has been put on that chair in the way of a cleaning. Why would I do that.....as also suggested. Sure I got all kinds of warranties, but they include everything except fabric fading which leads me to believe I have been nothing but deceived. I'm sure, as usual, you will do nothing about this complaint except maybe say you're sorry (not acceptable) and I will do everything in my power to discredit Ashley Furniture. I will tell every one I know what a ridiculous rip off your store is and how you DO NOT back up inferior merchandise. Too bad, I thought you were a quality store.

I purchased a recliner and couch from Ashley's Furniture and had nothing but trouble from day 1. I tried to resolve the problem with them but they do not stand behind their products. They were rude and did not stand behind their arrantee. I complained 6 weeks after I got the set and they stalled and procrastinated and gave the worst excuses for not wanting to do something about it. I am planning on taking them to small claims court to resolve the problem. They were very arrogant and told me they never lost a case. If anyone can tell me if they evr had the same experience and took them to court, I would appreciate if you would let me know what the end result was.MFy e-mail is minniemouse.18@netzero.net
