    I bought the this sofa from Heartland, Mississauga showroom. The quality of leather is so poor that it started peeling off within 6 months. The leather started getting stretched from the stitches area, and started losing its color. I paid for the sofa in full, without any financing. I bought the 5y premium insurance plan of Montage also for 400 dollars. the sales staff kept talking about extended warranty while selling this insurance and never clarified about the terms and conditions of this insurance.   • Lack of customer service for Ashley Furniture purchases



    We purchased Ashley furniture specifically because it is American made, or at least more so than other furniture out there. We paid over 1400.00 for 2 recliners, and we also purchased the service protection plan offered through the store. After less than 3 years, material effects appeared, which ruined the chairs' appearance. When we called to make a claim on the policy, we were asked to submit photos and we then told that the damage was considered normal wear and not covered.   • Avoid this company at all costs!!!



    This is the worst quality of any furniture I have ever purchased. Whilst I accept it is not the most expensive, it is of such poor quality that i am not expecting it to last too long. I had to reject 4 out of the 5 sofas/settees that I received due to really poor finish i.e. a loose arm on one, sagging material on the sides and back. On one sofa arm they hadn't installed any padding, so you could feel all the wood frame under the material.   • ashley furniture damage swirl marks scratches table used



    Like so many other reviews posted, I made a BIG mistake buying from Ashley Furniture. The problem is the warehouse located in Newark, Delaware. When the furniture was delivered (loveseat, recliner and sofa - all power, 2 end tables, coffee table and two lamps), one of the delivery guys was very rude. He walked in like he owned the place and not even a greeting. They damaged the loveseat, couch and recliner by scratching them going up the stairs and into the door.   • My buying experience



    I bought over $5,000 worth of furniture from Ashley. The sales lady I had was very slow and started and restarted the paper work. I was in the store over 3 hours, so I was very frustrated when I left. On Dec 14th my daughter met the delivery drivers at my house, as I could not take off work. She called me and asked if I had ordered a night stand and a cocktail table. I told her yes, and she said it had not been delivered.     recently purchased 2 bedroom sets from Ashley Furn. loved them both had a problem with one. I have learned in the past to charge everything on my American Express Card. So when the 2 sets came one was ok. The other had a discolored headboard instead of beige like the rest of the set it was peach as plain as day they told me no its the lighting. Then why dosen't all the other pieces look peach. (duh). Even my husband noticed and that's saying a lot.No need to get upset American Exp to the rescue.
