Less than 3 years ago we splurged on reclining sofa(5300087) and chair (5300098)from Ashley Furniture in San Antonio, TX, for our retirement home. After only two years the fabric started peeling from the headrests and seams. I really expected furniture for a retired couple to last longer than 2 years. The set looks terrible, and we are embarrassed to have people see it, but we will be sure and tell others that it is a product of Ashley Furniture. We want everyone we know to see the inferior material. In our 50 years of marriage, we have had several living room sets. We have never had one that was an eyesore within 2 years... maybe 10.
